Cedar Dunes Provincial Park

Cedar Dunes Provincial Park is located along the scenic North Cape Coastal Drive in the West Point area. Cedar Dunes is famous for beautiful beaches that stretch for miles. The park provides supervised swimming as well as children’s activities.

“While you’re there, you can tour the only inn in Canada that is located in a functioning lighthouse. The West Point Lighthouse also houses a museum displaying artifacts and photographs that document the history of Island lighthouses.

Nearby attractions include the Prince Edward Island Potato Museum in O’Leary.

Located 24 km south of O’Leary. Ocean beach with lifeguard services (June 27 to Sept. 1), park recreation and interpretive programs (June 22 to Aug. 24), nature trail, playground equipment, laundromat, kitchen shelter, dumping station. West Point Lighthouse on site. Pets permitted on leash. Reservations accepted after April 2, online reservations available. AE, Interac, MC, V accepted. HST is applicable to all reservations.
