The College of Piping & Celtic Performing Arts of Canada is internationally recognized for preserving and celebrating the rich traditions of Celtic music and dance. What began in the 1980s as a small community effort has grown into one of Prince Edward Island’s premier cultural tourism destinations.
The College offers year-round instruction in bagpiping, drumming, highland and step dancing, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and more, empowering students through music, movement, and performance. Its modern 280-seat Celtic Performing Arts Centre, opened in 2018, showcases live shows year-round—ranging from student showcases and community theatre to professional touring acts and headline concerts during the popular summer-long Celtic Festival.
Visitors are welcome to attend performances, explore the centre, and experience the energy of Island and Celtic culture in action. Whether you're a fan of traditional music or contemporary performance, The College of Piping offers an unforgettable taste of PEI’s artistic soul.
