Air Force Heritage Park

Prince Edward Island's aviation history at Air Force Heritage Park, located at the entrance to Slemon Park on the former site of RCAF Station/CFB Summerside. This outdoor heritage site honours the military and civilian personnel who served at the base and highlights the important role it played in Canada's air force history.

Visitors can view three restored military aircraft, explore interpretive displays, and learn about the base's contributions to maritime patrol, search and rescue, NATO operations, and North American air defence. The park is also home to the Walk of Honour, a commemorative pathway recognizing the service and dedication of those connected to the base and Canada's military.

Managed by the Aviation Heritage Society of Prince Edward Island, Air Force Heritage Park offers an engaging look at the people, aircraft, and history that helped shape Summerside's aviation legacy.
