The Alberton Museum & Eileen Oulton Genealogy Centre

Step back in time at the Alberton Museum & Eileen Oulton Genealogy Centre, located in the historic 1878 courthouse on Church Street. A National Historic Site and Designated Provincial Historic Site, the museum showcases the history of Alberton through fascinating artifacts, photographs, and exhibits. It’s also home to the West Prince Genealogy Centre, offering extensive resources for those tracing local family roots.

Open seasonally from June to September, Monday to Friday, the museum welcomes visitors of all ages—admission by donation.

Next door, the Alberton Arts & Heritage Centre serves as a vibrant events venue and houses a regional welcome centre, making it a great starting point for exploring the area.
